Excellent read - not only the final report, but your first hand account also.

I have collected some misc. info about the Ocean Nova incident in early 2009 that you may find interesting to read - http://www.komar.org/faq/travel/vacation/antarctica/ocean-nova/

The pdf looks to be in good shape. At least it is working for me and others. Perhaps it's an issue with the version of Acrobat Reader you are using?

I'll try emailing it to you.

Regards,

-Eli

Dear Eli,

thanks for uploading the report on the sinking of the Explorer! I followed your pages since many months and read all your reports on the the Explorer incident with great interest. Thanks for sharing all your thoughts and pictures.

Regading the official report copy I had trouble in opening the file. Both Internet Explorer and Mozilla tell me, that the pdf is corrupted and may not be repaired.

Is there any chance you may check this file? Or possibly even send it to me via e-mail. 1000 thanks + Happy Easter Greetings from Germany!
